Get Paladin Danse out of his Powerarmor

(first: i searched and didn't find a thread to it, sorry if there's allready one)
So I try mad to get Danse out of his PA (don't ask me why - I've got my reasons!). I'm allready in a relationship with him and completed his quest, so he doesnt wear the BS-PA anymore, but the other one.
Sooo first I've looked for Mods. I found two in the workshop that claimed to remove the PA or make him step out of it, but this stubborn ox just doesn't do it.
Then I searched with Google and found the "Slenderman"-trick; remove everything with console and "unequipall", then he turnes into Slenderman - got that part. Then you should sleep with him in a doublebed and, so the tips claim, he'll leave the Powerarmor and the Slenderman-mode and you can equip him with other stuff. I went to Hotel Redforth or whats-it-name in Goodneighbour, cause there's a doublebed and tried that but this guy just won't leave his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Powerarmor at all.

Any tips? :/ I'm at the end with my wisdom. And with this guy. (Should've choosen McCready ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥)

I would try to have him get in a differant suit, then get him out of that one. LOL choose any companion you want, when you change companions, rather than choosing where they go hit TAB and they normally go back to where you found them.

I don't know the answer to your question, but there is nothing preventing you from switching to McCready.

Hmm that sounds like something I could try out. I even was at the point where I could take the single parts of his PA but he would still leave the PA-sceleton on -.-
Will try that, maybe it'll work...
(yes I know that I can switch companions, I talked about the romance part there ;) )

He's good looking and I like his perc, whatelse do I need to know. Also he's basically my ♥♥♥♥♥ now, growing Tatos in my garden and all. Well that besides the point...

it's useful if an uncommandable NPC got into power armour that you need (e.g. one from a mod)

Thank you for that. All these uber-complicated ways to cheat or bug him out of it and this gun did it so well. Now Danse can finally sit on a couch like a decent human being. Or Synth being. You know what I mean.

For future reference, the bed trick doesn't usually work the first time. You have to spam sleep and eventually he'll climb out of his power armor and NOT look like Slenderman. If I remember correctly, it took me around 10-20 tries.

But now I use that one mod that adds the dialogue option to get Danse out of his PA. I think its called "Danse GTFO Power Armor". Works for me.

It is difficult to get Danse to leave his power armor, but the view is worth it :)
