I have mistakenly sold\lost this weapon. Have gone to all the vendoes I have had access to so far in this ccurrent game and none have it. How can I cheat it back into my inventory?

Glad I don't play with the console (also survival mode) but if I did I'd be tempted to console generate 1 of those for each of my precious, helpless, settlers. I do give them the best I find, including Legendaries (why not?), but like the concept. Guessing that at the end of "player.additem 0015b043 1" the "1" is iteration so I would need a huge # there.

First time the console has tempted me. Never used it, virgin, vanilla still in FO4.

Yep you're correct about the "1", so say you want like 5 of them you'd just add a 5. If one is needed then the number at the end isn't needed, also can be typed as "player.additem 15b043" as the beginning zeros are apparently not needed to spawn it

You can get explosive mods on any ballistic gun.

Apparently a gauss rifle is ballistic. but yeah, you can find the explosive legendary randomly in the waste, which you can rename spray and pray if you so desire.

The 15b043 code gives me the regular submachine gun, not the unique weapon.
Putting in (help Spray n' Pray 4) with or without qoutes does not give me the id.
Any other suggestions?

From what I've seen around, console commands don't disable achievements in fallout 4

Well to be more descriptive, grab the gun off the ground by pressing and holding e then opening the console and typing "getplayergrabbedref", then type the number you get into the console followed by .amod

Pretty sure you can just switch to a lower difficulty mid game and then use console commands, and then switch back to survival. Honestly, after you ruin your fun with the console once, you'll be hesitant to do it again. The only time I ever do it is to restore lost items, or to get out of some nasty bugs that make quests un-finishable.
