Automatron dlc is a HUGE fail

A game breaking bug on a quest (install ada radio beacon) i hv to use a console command to clear it, next is headhunting quest and another freaking game breaking bug ( no terminal in the fort to take jezebel ) tried to clear the quest using console command AGAIN.... zonk no headhunter achievement. What a bs.

it adds robots in settlement and as random encounters. That alone makes it worthwhile. As for the quest, i haven't done it yet. Not sure when i will.

How am I able to play this game without needing to use console commands, yet people like Vayne here seem to need to use them for everything?

have u do automatron dlc? its not just me, I search on google and lots ppl have this issue

I am almost afraid to ask, what issues did you encounter with installing the radar in Ada.

You can usually finish this once you use a robot workshop and install the radar to Ada there.

when i press craft, only leg option available, so i cant install the freaking radio beacon

Equip my guard settlers in heavy robot armor and eyebot helmets. This alone makes it worth it. The weapons are bad vs Far Harbor dlc.

Ada only legs bug can be solved without console command. Throw a plasmagrenade on it and than use a robot repair on it. This unlocks all on workbench.

Yea but on next quest headhunter, i cant find terminal in the fort to unlock the door to take jezeber(idk if i spell it wrong) but i check on youtube, the terminal is there, so it looks like the terminal is hidden on my game

Do you have any mods installed. It should have a "special" part when you are in the workbench and an option to install the radar.

Have you tried pressing tab to go back on the selection of modifications that you can do to Ada and does it only show that you can only modify the legs?

No , only leg option available. I dont mind any minor bugs tbh, but this gamebreaking bug so annoying. I do use mods but lots ppl hv this issue too, thats why i know what to type on console command to clear this

i don't care about achievements. I can understand the frustration, though. I got the bug that ends the effort to join the BOS. It upset me until i realized the character i was playing wouldn't join the BOS anyways, and i went back to my settlement building/commonwealth clearing. I got a mod that is suppose to fix this BOS bug. Have you checked Nexus to see if there is a mod that fixes automatron? I have heard of this automatron bug too. If it is common enough, someone will have made a mod to fix it.

People have unlocked the achiement including myself so I highly doubt its a consistent issue.

An older save maybe?

confilcitng mods? updated mods? I'd check that first. Even tho you can progress by using console commands, it may bug out again towards the end of the questline since you need ada to unlock a series of doors with certain implants installed.

What do you mean there's no terminal in the front to take Jezebel? It's pretty big you can't miss it..whole thing is just not there? Was Ahab there? The big robot in the back of the room that wants to kill you? If he's not there, then I'd verify game files and maybe reinstall the dlc.

If you use console commands a lot to advance questlines it's possible that save file is 'corrupt' so to speak. Yea you can play it and it loads, but certain things won't trigger or load, npc's act weird/missing, items are missing, etc.

It's possible it's just bugged, but rare prolly. On my last playthru I bugged the Nuka World questline with the crazy Nuka Cola girl (forget her name) it still says I need to talk to her even tho I did her questline already. It's cus I didn't complete her dialog and just ran off without exiting the conversation properly (i think). Didn't talk to her again until I found all the letters. Doesn't matter cus I was able to complete the questline..just a lil annoying when I look at my current objectives and it's still there.
