Scrap everything mod?
Anyone have experience with this mod? I tried to use it last night but got litter ally no effect at all. Didn't even get the item it says it adds as a readme (in game holotape)

Got it off the Bethesda mods not nexus.

It was the only settlement related mod I had so shouldn't have had any thing conflicting. I did give up and get another that just neatened up the one I wanted, tho I'm not 100% sure I like having it altered so much. Would rather keep some of the clutter, at least until I want to expand.

Bonus questions, there any mods out there that let you spawn attacks or even maybe (I know unlikely) move spawn points? I'd love to reset locations on some of the settlements. Like Spectacle island for example. I'd change spawn so all 4 are on the far side of the island and they all come rushing over the island rather than just pop in right next to your stuff.

I have the mod and it works perfectly. It's become an essential modification for me because I can no longer work on my settlements without it....gotta have it!:builders:

Did you have to do anything to make it work?
Says to put at the bottom of the load order, which I did, unless bottom means top? If that's the case, I did try but there's another mod that pushed it down, a weather mod that always has to be on top.

I also saw something about adding ini code but that seemed to be to another bug.

That ini code change is used with the "build anywhere" mods which I don't have installed so I never changed the ini's. I just installed the mod with NMM and placed it at the end of the load order and everything works fine. Wish I could be more helpful sorry?

I am using Scrap Everything, but I downloaded it from Nexus. It is indeed supposed to be at the end of the load order, so that it wins conflicts against ones above it. Only Building Ground Fix, FO4Merged.esp and Bashed Patch, 0.esp are below it in my game.

It basically expands the scrap list, so that you can scrap things like leaves, corpses, certain buildings, foundations, grass etc. It should work out of the box, when you install it in to your game.

Hmm.. maybe i will just clean my game of mods and switch to nexus mods. I thought I could be lazy and use the in fane game ones but it seems the selection is weaker and this mod might just not work in this instance.

Will see what I need to do when I get out of work tonight.
Thanks

You might actually want to see some extra effort with Scrap Everthing. I accidentially scrapped Red Rocket Station three times today. Then I logged out and removed it from my scrap list entirely.

SE is a good mod and easy to use. Scrap list just really means scrap almost every thing that you can. It might be worth to spend a moment to read through the list in FO4Edit and remove targets that you really do not want to scrap.

I use it also and I love the way it scraps ghouls, raiders, gunners etc. It does not scrap everything though. You have to be very careful though .. I scrapped a floor piece and wound up in the ground somewhere. lol

i have also had problems with this mod. It needs to be loaded low, i think. And it sometimes has a weird trigger spot. It can be quite potent. You can take down whole houses with it. When i was playing with it last night, it wasn't working very well in my vault, but i don't think it is meant for dlc.

Yeah I deleted all my Bethesda mods and redownloaded them with nexus and scrap works perfectly now. Tore down the house and shed on spectacle island and I'm building a giant fortress.

Glad to hear you got it going.:good:

Wondering about this myself, because I use a mod that restores the Castle, and I'm worried it'll conflict somehow.

Should I just remove the Castle from the scrap list?
Fatum Jul 28, 2017 @ 1:48pm
I don't think it will cause any issue. You don't have to scrap anything unless you want to.

Alright, thanks.
