Strange circular shadow around character

So, im playing on old laptop and with low graph setings have strange circular shadow around character around my char, any1 knows how to fix it or delete?

if you're still looking for an answer, it's caused by shadows turned off.

So, what was the actual issue in the end? I am having the same problem with the circular shadow.
