Stuck in Caution on Survival
So I was running past Parsons when I hear a raider, at the time I thought they weren't worth the trouble and snuck away. However since then I've been stuck in Caution which is a pretty big problem. The only solutions I can find online are people saying to enter and exit combat elsewhere, which hasn't worked and to try fast traveling which I can't do for obvious reasons.

I have the console enabled via mods in case of bugs happening, but I can't seem to find any that relate to your detection state. Has anyone got a solution?

I am assuming that you are trying to save but can't because of the caution? how far away have you traveled? Try going to Sanctuary, to the furthest end of it. Try saving there. this happened to me before and i went to Sanctuary and waited things out. Maybe go into the cellar at Sanctuary and try to sleep there.

It fixed itself, I thought you couldn't sleep in Caution but it's actually only when enemies are nearby thank God. An 8 hour nap solved the issue, though it was still annoying being unable to craft for a while.:2016bee:

I had this glitch but I wasn't in survival. My solution was go somewhere where there are no enemies and make a hard save, not a quick save or an exit save, and then load the hard save.

(for future users) if you are in survival and get this problem, enable console via a mod or file edit, and lookup a nearby settlement on the wiki (preferrably one that you already have a bed placed in) and get it's cell name type: "coc [cellname]" in the console to fast travel there. ex: for Home Plate type " coc DmndPlayerHouse01 ", sleep in the bed for 1 hour and the [CAUTION] should go away, atleast it did for me.

Yup, still a thing even with the Unofficial Patch. Goodneighbor area combat, but it wouldn't stop even though I had entered Diamond City, then the Dugout, and finally ended when I slept.
