Sound bug
When roaming the commonwealth this looping sound from a downed vertibird won't stop playing. I've tried restarting my game, toggling radio stations, sleeping, but nothing seems to work. Is there a console command to reset the sound engine?

Those looping sounds bugs usually vanish as soon as the cell where it happened is reset.

Did you try fast traveling away?

Yes, but not even that worked

So you say the sound bug remains at the same place even after you get away from the location, wait one week in game time (the usual time a cell takes to reset itself), and go back?

Occasionally had this happen to me. Near Quincy Ruins I think.

No idea what causes it. As was said above, leaving the offending cell seems to help. Doesn't interfere with game play, other than being annoying and a bit distracting.

Ah. Haven't tried waiting an in game week. I'll try that now

Can also happen with gun sounds, specially when an enemy dies. Perhaps it has to do with some synchronization fail between sounds and the death of an entity.

I've figured out what the issue actually is. Whenever I shoot my handmade rifle, the actual weapon sound doesn't play and is replaced by the same annoying looping sound

In case someone is getting this problem and searching around for a solution. I had a sound bug after getting stuck in an elevator. Managed to get out of the bug but was stuck with the elevator sound. Using the console command 'fks' fixed it. fks just kills all sound so it restarts all sounds playing.

I have this bug where it sounds like a spinning wheel is constantly being pushed, as if I'm at a crafting table.

I had industrial sounds plague me for 2 years (it sounded like it was inside my character).. until last year, I tried uninstalling DLC, turns out my problem was with Automatron. And fixed.
