Yeee am not that stupid :D settler is walking around, welding station like all the others but there is no new junk in workshop, water and food works well, only this.

Only 100 salvage can be obtained. Once you hit that cap no new junk will be put into the workshop. If you want more Take out the scrap in the workstation and put it into a seperate container.

Does "pure" material like wood or steel count as junk for this?

I believe anything in the "Junk" tab counts against the settlement total. Clean it out and try again. The same is true for food. If you don't clean out everything from the AID tab in the workshop new food and water will not be deposited.

Good to know, thanks.

Yeah, all the production stations have a cap on how much they'll put into your workshop - once there's that much in the workshop they'll stop adding.

Which is kind of pointless but . . .

So if you want them to keep adding scrap and food and water you'll have to keep taking it out and putting it into containers.

for scrap i have the feeling that the 100 Counter counts stacks of basic resources as one thing, not as many as the stack is big. thats why i ever strip down all scrap in its basic parts, and still get new ones from the station.

It takes both ingame hours and real world hours before a settler brings something to it.
Also if a settler has brought 100 items without any of them being used they wont bring anymore to that settlement.
