Fire Support: Assist the Soldiers

I come to assist Danse and we kill every ghoul but he keeps saying "check your fire we've got hostiles" I can leave and play other missions and come back and he still says same ♥♥♥♥. I use some mods and I am not going through them. So what I want to do is get past that point using the console commands to start with BOS missions. If I cannot fix this and return to this game, I am done with mods for good! I play on very hard and I am not going to waist anymore of my time! If anyone knows a way to force this mission, I am done!

It's a known bug, try reloading an earlier save if possible or try this:
SetStage 0005ddab 40

Short but sweet, I enter the ArcJet systems with him and he returns to the Cambridge police station! major bug and Game Breaker!

As I said before, best to revert to an earlier save so the proper flags are set and it doesn't break.
Make sure that the two scribes he's trying to protect don't go down.

use a melee weapon if it's stuck in the ground.

I tried earlier save way before posting here, even hour before the problem!

I am going to rest again and go off and do other jobs and come back later and see if is corrected! Thanks for your help guys! :) I hope they address this game breaker!

i keept thinking there were more ghouls to kill and started pulling them back there to no avale

at the time i didn't care and moved on .....brotherhoods borring anyway

I ended up doing the job my self and it triggered Danse to appear and was able to continue on!
