I then told him he could accompany me, had Nick Valentine sent to Red Rocket Station, and the supply line from Graygarden to Hangman's Alley finally disappeared.
Thanks, folks. I hope this thread helps someone in the future.
And woohoo @ not having to use console commands.
I lose them quite frequently. Recently I was jetpacking around high up with Piper as a companion. She never followed high up but ran below. Bored I teleported to Home run and she didn't teleported with me. Several loads, teleports, days, shutdowns later I went to a settlement and she was there working the farm.
I lost Garvey weeks ago after dismissing him to the Castle. One of the settlements messed up and dropped below 60. When I went there to fix it Garvey and a team of minutemen were there. I later went back to the castle and no Garvey. Haven't seen him since.
I have lost Codsworth a couple times, found it in Sanctuary once and Graygarden once.
Danse has disappeared for a few days too. He showed up again when I went to talk that guy into returning to the BOS. Bad time to show up since there were like 15 BOS standing around.
There have been more but each time eventually they all show up. Hopefully Garvey went AWOL from the minutemen to Vegas.
Haha. Yeah. I feel like learning the "bugs" of this game is as much a part of it as is modding weapons or using V.A.T.S.
I've never been one to stress over bugs, I guess that's why I like playing early access games. I look at the bugs as an unexpected challenge instead of a problem.
I'm used to online multplayer games, mostly MMORPGs, where you can wait for the bug to be fixed. But your outlook is one I'll have to adapt for single-player games.
