The minutemen have the best ending, but only if you try to keep every faction happy as long as possible and betray the Institute at Mass Fusion.

The Brotherhood has the most fun ending. It's the most popular ending, too. They really make you feel like you're part of something awesome.

The Institute has the most bland endgame content, but if you're on Survival mode you keep the warp, which is probably the most useful thing in survival mode.

The Railroad is boring.

Side with Atom.

You get the Minutemen because without PA or Rad-X you are jerky in less than a minute.

You get the Brotherhood of Steel because you live in a submarine within a concrete pen.

You get the Institute because the Grand Confessor is a Synth.

You get the Railroad because you can still save Arcadia and maintain your activist hippie passport.

And best of all you get a vacation in Maine while the Commonwealth self combusts.

If you got sexually aroused by watching the ball and chain killed and the lil rug rat being kidnapped then join the those guys. If you felt angry about what happened and want it to stop like all the people in the Commonwealth then join the guys who came to help.

Choose minutemen so you can be best carpenter in the whole Commonwealth.

- BoS wants to destroy every single oddity in earth and confiscate tech that caused this in first place, thus preventing it happening ever again . = best future for mankind, And BoS is evil HA

nuke world ?!
Actually, there is no bad faction in Fallout universe (Except raiders, gunners etc.) They all have their own idealogies. Just like in real life. So choose which one suits you the most

Dude, institute killed your wife.

people like you probably sided with the imperials in skyrim too.

None of the stuff is important. THEY KILLED YOUR WIFE. doesn't matter if they also cured cancer. it DOESN"T WASH.

Kill them all.

Actually Kellogg offed the spouse. I realize they set it in motion, but I don't believe they explicitly ordered the execution.

You must have some moral alignment which is going to make you prefer one or the other. Not sure how forums can help you form a decision outside whats already been said.

If you like saving terminals and worry about my wrist watch feelings, go railroad, you might have to liberate your iphone too.

If you like being "general" to a bunch of lazy farmers that can't even decide on leadership without bickering pick Minutemen.

If you like organized militaristic group that gets stuff done with a giant robot that loves freedom and hates communism, take Brotherhood.

And if you think a few underground technologically advanced madmen, that had your wife shot, that call you nothing but an experiment, that turned your son into a sociopath, that want robots instead of people on the surface, that created all the supermutants and behemoths in the commonwealth, then take Institute.

legally if you pay a guy to kidnap a boy, and during the kidnapping he murders someone, you are guilty of murder.

but yes, according to 'da plan' he was just supposed to murder everyone else in the tanks, take the baby, and spare the backup.

which matters nothing.

The Institute started the war anyway as a way to wipe the slate clean and build a Utopia with their select clique, not unlike the scientists in Clancey's "Rainbow Six".

Yep I wonder why peoples think that Institute is not evil
If you click cryopod of others in memory scene

I never knew why we didn't just refreeze the rest of them, but we had our orders. I guess the old man didn't want so many loose ends.

So they killed spouse, refreeze backup, take Shaun and left everyone else to DIE.
