Where is the Critical Hit Button???

I hate having to ask this question; but I've searched all through the Control Settings, Steam Forums and General Internet Searches; but the closest I've gotten to the answer is hitting X on an XBox. I'm on a PC (Keyboard and Mouse) and for the life of me... I just can't figure out how to activate my critical hit in VATs. The meter is full (has been for sometime)... even though I only recently started using VATs.

Anyway... enough declaimers... Please Help :).

"X" is the action button , maybe try typing "qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm" to replicate it

Doesn't that actually show the key to press on the screen when in VATS target selection?

Interestingly.... I only see it (Press Space...etc.) AFTER hitting space. While in VATs and prior to executing the shot(s) there is nothing stating 'Hit Space'. As well... if I just hit Space... Nothing happens. I have to execute the Shot... and then quickly hit Space to use the Critical hit.

If this is some kind of Resolution issue; I have no idea; nor any idea how to fix.
