So if i was leaving Diamond city would it be left of that street or right?
I appreciate the response. Could you give me some directions there?
Preston put it on my map.
Thank you on my way.
First is to take a right and go down the set of stairs until you reach a turn in the road. If you go straight you'll end up in the little housing development with the diner that's usually the site of a war between Scavengers and Raiders, and to the left is a road heading up a slope a bit. Go left on that road until you see a dumpter, and then at that dumpster go left again. Right in front of you should be a Junk Gate with some corpses suspended over it, and you've reached the front gate to Hangman's Alley.
The second way is to go straight when you exit the brige and stop when you come to a peach colored car. To the right of that car should be what looks like an old sitting room with some more corpses on hooks next to a Junk Door. That door will be locked (I don't know what skill level is required to open it), and it leads to a flanking position for Hangman's Alley and might help you get the Raiders by surprise. Or it might not, there might be Raiders outside that door too, I don't remember.

I always steal the key to Kellog's house in Diamond City, so Hangman's Alley doesn't interest me that much.
