How strong is X-01 power armor?
I found most of a set and it looks cool. Is it good?

It's the highest tier of power armor without mods. It's also the most expensive to maintain as well.

Still prefer the T-45, cause of the paint options

Also if you have Nuka World you can get 4 full sets if you start it at the recommended minimum level.

Its the strongest Tier Power armor, Enclave tier from the other games.

if you upgrade it fully it defend pretty damn well. I gave it ceramic plating to defend from explosives.

it takes copper and aluminum to repair over basic power armor which I think just requires steel.

but I can go a pretty long while before it starts to break.

I used it for a while. eventually you get very large HP wise and don't want to bother with power armor. but its the best.

though the T-60 for the money might be easier to maintain. And good 'enough' (you find T-60 complete sets on dead brotherhood knights)

I just got the Tesla armor. It's pretty good but find the gun kind of meh. Does anyone use it or should I give it to a settler?

It's also possible (if you follow the Brotherhood) to end up with a full array of legendary effects on a T-60 suit from the specific legendary pieces you can acquire. Nuka World adds a legendary T-51 and X-01 suit, but they essentially have legendary paint schemes, applying only a single effect while also denying you the effect of a standard paint.

However, the T-51 armour is probably the most efficient in terms of repairs; it's considerably improved from the T-45, while being only marginally more costly to repair (an extra piece of steel for each part, and one piece of aluminium added for the torso).

Thanks for letting me know! I've been breaking the arms of my suit so far. I was lucking to have the pieces needed to repair it

its best in all ways
it looks cool
it has good defence any kind of damage
and the most important X-01 is enclave's first choice
with hot rod shark paint or instute paint it gets even cooler

if you like paint jobs t51 has all paint jobs and commercial paint jobs

it's a pre-war advanced prototype power armour, that was finalised post-war by the enclave (as the X-02, taking basis from the differences in appearances of Enclave power armour and X-01 power armour), it's the toughest vanilla power armour

There is a full set in downtown but the game is bugged to make it look like T-51 or something. Only when entering it does it morph into the X PA.

I also like the T-51 armor. Not only is it cheaper to repair, it's also cheaper to upgrade. When you upgrade t-51 to e or f mod it is stronger than BOS t-60 power armor. Basically, with a shot up set of T-51, you can roll into any area with a power armor repair bench and fix it with the metal tools, empty cans, and a couple of empty metal buckets or garbage cans laying around the area.

I saw it as T-45

If I remember correctly, the t51-b in FNV was 9999 health so what we now have pales in comparison. Cough.. not to mention battery life - lol :-)
