Another Castle Settlement (massive one, though!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyuDXrobsXQ

My castle settlement build. It's mostly functional, with some (but very little), decorative items. It's personally the single largest build I've ever seen. What do you guys think?

This is my first and only gaming video I've ever made, so I'm open to suggestions to improve, too.

How are you using such little size usage in settlement? Would love to know what mod that is. Looks great, Must of taken some serious time

It's not a mod. I didn't realize this was happening until about half-way through my playthrough, but when you scrap weapons and armor by dropping them on the ground and hitting scrap in the workshop mode, it actually counts toward you settlement size usage (meaning, it takes some away from it) Since dropping them does not add to the size, though, you can effectively repeat that process constantly to get the bar lower and lower.

Like I said, I didn't realize that was the case until halfway through my game, when I noticed my settlements were a bit bigger than my friends' settlements. So I did some google searches to figure out why, turns out that was why. Some people say it's a glitch and I'm just exploiting it, but it's how I've always played the game, I just find it easier to scrap things in the workshop mode than by actually going to a workbench.

Thanks for watching!

Side note: You can also get the bar lower by sending items to the workbench in workshop mode, going to the workbench to retrieve said items, drop them, and send them back to the workbench via workshop mode again. Repeat that over and over and the size bar will slowly go down. THAT I do consider exploiting a glitch, and I did not do that. Every weapon or armor I scrapped in workshop mode I actually brought in from questing, etc.

Is the mod you're looking for.

You don't need to use a mod to increase the settlement build.
Here's a guide:

Yeah, as I said before, I didn't use a mod to increase the settlement size. I don't recommend it, either. I like to keep my mod usage to a minimum. If I can do what I want to in the vanilla game then I will.

OP, nice settlement BTW. I tend to suck when it comes to designing my settlements.

Nice Mfree, I really like the idea of expanding outside the castle. There's just not enough room on the inside. I did that a bit, but not as much as you.
