Not able to wait?

I thought I was able to wait while sitting down in a chair? I'm not getting an option while sitting down, what do I do? Im in vault 81 and the stupid boy giving me a tour went to sleep and now I have to wait for the little bugger to wake up. Halp please.

Should be "T" by default. Make sure you haven't rebinded your key?

How can I check? I don't think I saw what binding it would be

Under SETTINGS > CONTROLS
But keep in mind it doesn't look like you can change the wait action itself, but make sure you haven't binded "T" to something else, if it even lets you (not sure).

Yea T isn't binded to anything, and I am not getting an option to wait when I sit down. Does it have to be in a chair I own, or in a settlement? Maybe its a bug specific to Vault 81?

Well, if T isn't bound to anything then it's not bound to the wait function when it should be.

And no, you should be able to wait from anywhere you can sit IIRC

was this ever solved? I am sitting in a chair, no enemies anywhere, T isn't bound to something else, but when i click T nothing happens

There are some chairs/couches where you cannot wait. They are few and far between but they exist.
