Rainbow Texture glitch fixed!

I have had this issue as well as others for a long long time. it breaks immersion and gets on my effin nerves so bad.

I used to play for only like an hour or so and get the issue, sometimes if i turned the game on and went straight to settlement building it would happen instantly. Used this fix and i played for 3-4 hours with absolutly no problem. big thanks the the mod author.

playing on 1080p w/ ultra settings. high god rays, high AO, and all the frills except motion blur [cuz i think it llooks like garbage]

My PC specs:

AMD Athlon x4 880k 4.2ghz
RX 480 8GB
12 gb ram

Well it appears that the issue lies with amd reading the ba2 files. If you repack the textures into ba2s it won't eliminate the rainbow textures. This mod now reqs you to repack the textures. Going to try and unpack the textures into the data folder and see if it works.

Using enbboost also fixes rainbow textures. Aswell as it fixes LOD problems.

but what about if you dont use enb's at all?

its just the boost
enboost dosent add any graphical fidelity or annoying menus like enb series if that's what you mean
it just fixes the memory issues with texture loading aswell as other stability issues.

Well hey if you plan to use it be sure to set the correct VideoMemorySizeMb= number in in the enblocal.ini according to your hardware system specs

or else the enboost might just do the opposite of what you want it to do :P (e.g cause more rainbow textures and LOD issues) but that's self explanatory you don't set up more memory than your system can handle ..

there are also tutorials available explaining this better too

ENBoost does NOT fix the issue. The unfortunate issue is that not everyone can run the game stable after extracting the textures... :') Stutters soo bad.
