Unluckily though, I can't remember what it's called.
If you want something that gives you more control over what types of scrap you get, theres Northland Diggers. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9710/?
There may be more mods along these lines as well, but these are the ones I've tried in the past and they helped me quite a bit with resources.
2: collect all the plastic you can find
3: make jet, ultra jet, and jet fuel
4: sell jet for shipments of supplies.
Alternatively, I downloaded the mod Cannabis Commonwealth. Five minutes of harvesting/crafting and you'll have 7000+ caps worth of drugs to trade. I haven't spent an actual bottlecap in ages. A few rounds at the corvega plant or something and you can fill a settlement in no-time.
i know, its amazing how much copper hides in pipeguns. Until now i was running around with a backpack mod and max strenght just picking up every item i found. Then i discovered the salvage beacon mod that will send out settlers to collect all items inside a container and bring them to a settlement of your choosing...huge improvement from having limited inventory space but it is still annoying af going through all these menues :)
have a nice day
