Running Windows 10 Pro... i7. .5TB SSD... 25TB HDD... 32GB 1866 HyperX ram... Extreme 4 MOBO... 2 Monitors... Creative Labs Z series sound card ... 5.1 Creative speakers... Mad Catz V7 keyboard... R.A.T. 5 mouse... Nostromo Gaming Keyboard


Had problems... fav games on steam... not working! Tried to install direct10 through the game folders... kept failing - INTERNAL ERROR . CHECK dxerror.log ETC. Games were failing on audio too... common denominator ...DIRECTX.
My PC is running a directx 12 card. Windows 10 by default should have directx12.

I Figured out through time (2 weeks of searching alot of forums and sites) it was Directx at fault!!!

What are you using for graphics?

At the moment... 2xGTX660Ti (SLI).

Siill play origin games. Steam, when it always installs DX when playing a game.... then thats where the problems began!

it makes sense if you reinsert separators... 500gb SSD and 2.5TB worth of HDD.

Main Drive is a Half TB (internal)... 2 Burners (Internal) 15tb HHD internal and 10TB (External - through a usb powered nub).... wanna see a dxdiag??????? Extreme 4 has 8 Sata ports!!!
