Any mods that add existing npc's as companions
I am looking for mods that add companions the were just npc's in the game before, for previous games there was a sunny smiles companion and a sarah lyons companion and an amata follower mod. I am looking for something like that with full voices and stuff, fo4 kinda sucks ass and there is a voiced protagonist, so I am doubting they even exist.

all I could find on nexus was a million make over mods, the stupid ass voiced protagonist really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game up.

You could probably just head over to the nexus since they have an entire section on it; other than that, the Witcher 3 nexus has been doing pretty poorly lately, I think Fallout 4 has a few companion mods here and there.

I've not seen any yet. I'm hoping that those talented modders who created all those FO3 and FNV mods will make a return and mod some followers. It's much harder to create followers or make existing NPCs followers in FO4 than in, say, Skyrim, where anyone and their mother-in-law could create a follower (and the Nexus is full of heavily modded sexy female companions). I tried creating a follower in FO3, and just gave up halfway because it was quite hard to make it work, and just relied on the Nexus. I'm sure we'll see them soon.

It's not so much the problem of the voiced protagonist, though - the NPCs are going to have to have lines extracted from their existing dialogue to make things work anyway, and anyone willing to take the time to do that will do the same for the voiced protagonist's answers. Skyrim was so easy because all followers had the same basic follower dialogue, and just by selecting certain voicesets when creating the character will open up all follower dialogue for them.

EDIT:- Oh yes, if you don't mind the followers not speaking when you talk to them, and not actually being dismissable to anywhere other than where they spawned, you can use the console to add pretty much anyone as your follower. My current follower is Dixie, and surprisingly she does talk when I click "Talk". Chancer and Bedlam would just stare at me silently, although they did have their raider idle chatter to themselves even when following me.

I was hoping for say ellie, I was gonna send her to my vault 88 and have her and nick re-open their agency there with a mod that lets you build his neon sign. Or like danny sulivan after you save his life after the mayor shoots him, I thought that would be cool. Too bad, fo4 does not seem to have any good mods, or dlc for that matter, and with the release of skse I don't think things will get any better.

Recruit any NPC as a Follower.
Is this what you wanted?

Not really no, it is more of the alternative to what ianliew said but as a mod not a console command. Plus looking at it their seems to be a large ammount of issues with it.
