Green glow and torch symbol on screen?
WTF is that? I can't get rid of it - good karma to anyone who can tell me how to turn it off.

It's something to do with targeting as it looks for living things and tells me about their legs arms etc. In any case it's annoying me no end as I can't do anything except try to get rid of it!

Please people help me out!

That's your pipboy light, btw. The headlamp on Power Armor works the same way.

Generally it's wise to look up key bindings before making a thread.

If you're wearing a Mining Helmet with a Head Lamp, as well as a suit of Power Armor, the lights for them turn on in the same fashion. It's fun using a Mining Helmet, get the headlamp option of a power armor without using power armor. Sadly Combat Helmets which have headlamps do not work without downloading a mod. Pitty.

Also, as it has yet to be said.

The color the flashight provides is the same as your pipboy. If you want to change the color, brightness, etc; Just go into your settings and adjust the pipboy color. I prefer something more White.

As for the color of the Power-armor headlamp, You have a few options a the power-armor station:
  • Headlamp (Pipboy Color)
  • Blue
  • Bright (Pipboy Color)
  • Purple
  • Red (Light can't be seen by ghouls or animals)
  • Vault-Boy (Green headlamp with a Vault Boy shadow outline.).

Vault Boy option will display a Vault Boy inside the light
