Rocket 69
You never hear them singing about the other 68 rockets, which makes me think..... (cue song)

To make it more uncomfortable for some people out there, its being sung by a guy about another guy.

IMO, its nice to see a game include such things without going overboard.

... Why would you think it's about another guy? o_O
Panda Stonetree Jan 8, 2017 @ 7:47pm
Well. The fact that the Guy that is singing it says so... He says:

Would you like to ride my rocket 69?
With a sweet man like you we could have such a wonderful time
You'll have to hold tight, poppa, while I go into my spin
You'll love the new world I'm going to take you in
We'll ride and glide and be so satisfied

I get that, but it's not a guy singing the song....

"Rocket 69 - Connie Allen" is how it's credited. Connie Allen is a African American singer, she has a rather deep voice admittedly. But that seems about right for music of this type and era.

Well, it sounds like it this way. And even in that type and era women did sing more than men. Plus, when has a female typically have a "rocket"

Yes, but you do realize that "69" implies a well known sexual position and that in this particular case "rocket" is being use more as a euphanism for the act of wild sex (almost like an adverb) than a euphanism for a penis. The song is basically an allusion to wild sex.

There's even a line implying directly that the singer is female:

"I'll make you mighty happy that I'm your girl, we'll fly through the sky and go out of this world."

Which is why I don't get how anyone could conflate it as a subtle hint towards homosexuality.

IKR. I was going by what I was hearing through my Dolby Headset. I didn't even think of looking up the actual person who sang it. Yet still, its entertaining. and there is more than one gay references in the game.

Yeah at first listen it's hard to pick up the more female tones in her voice.

Constant gunfire doesn't help either.
