Crash in CIT Ruins
I have disabled all mods, cleared out stray files within the Data folder as was suggested on a forum somewhere. This still occurs every time I enter the CIT ruins area, with or without mods, in new saves.

Specs:
Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
AMD A-10 7850k 4GHz
16GB RAM
Windows 10

As far as error logs go, I enabled the papyrus log and disabled mods but it all seems to be stuff going on about "zxBleedMonsterQuest" which I assume is some sort of effect, whilst with mods enabled I get errors about something completely different.

This seems to occur around the bridge at the CIT areas, usually when looking towards the raider ship or in the direction of diamond city.

Any help would be lovely dovely.

What about uninstalling the game and manually delete the leftovers and do a fresh installation? Thought about that?

Yes, this has been done multiple times as I have reinstalled Windows over the past year many times. Its been an ongoing issue for me. I've been able to avoid it by using console commands to directly enter cells in order to avoid the area.

And every time you installed mods and then disabled them or did you play the game vanilla at least once, to get to the point where it crahes?

Within the first few months of game release I played vanilla as the mods sucked at the time. This was when I first had the issue.

In the following months I gradually installed more and more cosmetic mods, only to lose it all again when reinstalling Windows in the summer. Alas, the issue happened then, but in even more locations than this.

As of now I play the game heavily modded, but have absolutely nuked my data folder on occassion due to issues with mods being incompatible. The error still occurs but the areas it happens in has decreased a little. Its usually on bridges leading into the main city area.

Some mods aren't fully deactivated when you're still in an affected cell. Go inside a call (like a house or something) and sleep for ~48 hours. Then go outside; this should "clean" the rest of the mod.

But I know the CIT area; lots of FPS were lost there and it crashed on a regular basis; until I installed Shadow Boost. I'm not doing advertisement here, but this mod really helps a lot when it comes to FPS loss and crashes inside the big city.

Funfact is: with massive graphical overhaul mods, the game runs with smooth 60 FPS but as soon as I came somewhat near Diamond City and/or the pond where Swann sleeps, I had solid 30 FPS which kind of sucked hard. So Shadow Boost. It helped; playing it now cranked all to the max with 60 FPS and around CIT/Diamond City 57 FPS.

I'll try the mod you've mentioned, but I know for a fact I have no issues with FPS. The game runs on a stable FPS unless I run into an army of super mutant suiciders.

I'll attempt the wait time you've mentioned and hope it makes a change.

I'm expecting prompt feedback.

That came across more as an order than as a hope.

Well, you can interprete that as you wish. Let's say: I'm curious if this solves the problem.

Alas, same issue. Upon entering the CIT ruins I crashed to desktop without an error report.

The papyrus log is only showing hit registration from when I ran past Danse as he fought a horde of ghouls in the cambridge pd area.

Last thing I can suggest is: loading an older savegame. I had something similiar and it crashed every time I entered Salem. Another save file did the trick. Go for it.

I've completely nuked saves altogether. As these are fresh saves I'm creating every time I test this, I imagine no remnants of scripts or quests are causing any issues.

I'm starting to suspect this issue is just going to be permanent. I'll run another game file verification and see if it helps, but I very much doubt it. Thanks, regardless.

EDIT: All files successfully validated. Urk..
