well good thing is, once u buy the game you always have it. Survival mode makes you always think ahead and plan. If you get surprised you die. Power Armor or not your screwed. One of the best beifits to me of it is all the different perks i wouldnt take in the normal difficulitys. I'm telling you right now lead belly is will probally save you 100k in bottlecaps. And bc everything hits even harder your twitch reflexes become far better. I suggest getting a sniper rifle early and horde all 308 ammo you can if you ever get around to trying it. Even at close range it has enough stopping power to save your life against supermutants. If you can make snap headshots that is.
If there are perks you'll never use on other game modes, then don't pick those perks. I mean, seriously.
True, on my first survival run I took a lot of Endurance but in the end it's not worth it. Since enemies will just blast through your health no matter how high it is. 2nd run I used a high Agility and Perception character and he was much more stable and durable since i took out enemies from afar with a Sniper rifle and when they did get up close with melee weapons a good shotgun is all you need. (The fact that Non-auto rifles and Shotguns are both afected by Rifleman is great since you can use 2 distinct weapons and only need to level up one perk saving points for survival stuff) Survival will make you use Perks you would otherwise never choose and think outside the box when combining them.
