Also quick and "normal" saving both don't work.
Lastly, I know that you said you haven't installed any mods but on the off chance that you did and then uninstalled it, that can definitely corrupt your save since some mods leave elements that get "baked" into your save forever.
well, I downloaded a .txt (it was named "crafting.txt") file with commands to add all crafting materials into inventory, BUT I removed the .txt ending from the file and entered "bat crafting" into console and then the game crashed without saving, hence my current save files should be from the time before I used this command.
But why are they still corrupt?
Well, the deal with the TXT file sounds innocent enough but it's always a good idea to check anyway, so did you open the file in a txt editor and look it over BEFORE you ran it?
If the file is just adding items via the console, EVERY line should look like
player.additem xxxxxxxx yy where "xxxxxxxx" is the FormID and "yy" is the amount
If there's any other commands in there, I'd definitely investigate them to make sure they don't cause any harm to my game.
Assuming that the bat file was OK, the bad news is saves can and do get corrupted from time to time. Why don't you try rolling back to a prior save and see if you stabilize? I personally had a similar issue where I uninstalled a mod and then CTD every time I saved, fast traveled or the game autosaved. Thankfully I had a save that I made prior to installing the mod but the down side was I lost about a 2 weeks in game time.
Since you say you use the console a lot, I think you better read this:
http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/warning-fallout-4-console-commands-can-wreck-save-file/
Well, stupid thing was, that I removed the .txt ending of the .txt file, so it was just a "file", not a .txt file. Then I ran the bat command and it crashed.
Yeah, afterwards, I put back the.txt ending by renaming and looked through it by opening it in Notepad; the commands were just adding materials, nothing else.
I loaded the save files which are from the time before running the bat command but it's like they are corrputed now, even though those saves were, again, from the time before running said bat command.
I'll check later in game and will give you updates.
Thanks for the tips for now.
I assume that it's indeed corrupted somehow, but that can't just be, as I did nothing unusual apart from spawning items like I did for the entire time anyway. When it crashed for the first time, I did not save or anything, so why are my older save files corrupted then if they weren't affected? Any ideas?
And is there a possible way to make it work again?
It's just sad as it has happened to me already a time ago. I don't wanna start over for a third time ...
You have a mere 12 hours in the game (That's nothing), delete everything, uninstall, re-install, start over, try not to ♥♥♥♥ it up this time.
Make sure it save's OK early on in the game, check it's saving OK often.
I've played on a non-Steam version for quite more hours, then it got corrupted too, so I bought it again with the DLCs on Steam hoping that the Steam Cloud would spare from such a frustrating experience.
But no, it doesn't. 12 hours may not seem much, but I had alot of fun designing my settlements, modding my armor and weapons and actually putting love into this playthrough; it's just frustrating thinking that I'll have to start over again. Yeah, you aren't meant to be using cheats and the console, yet I did nothing that extremly wrong except from spawning ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ items (also by using said bat command) with the console in my last two playthroughs that it just corrupts for a second time.
Isn't there really another solution?
There is no non-steam version, unless your on about a console version.
If you have it on a console, go play that.
