plant regrowth question
so hey, ive been playing fallout sense number 1... (but long after it came out) and here in number 4 i love the crafting system, but i wanna know about bloodleaf and other plants that you have to go out to find, ive read that they regrow after a time, but dose any one know how long i have to wait?

currently im in survivle mode, so i know most things have a longer regrowth timer, and ive read that diffrent plants have diffrent timers, but i would like to know about the bloodleaf timers, because almost at the beginning of the game i went out and picked a bunch of bloodleafs near the first town (sacurary hills) and i wanna know why im able to do so, so many quests and have so many days pass without them regrowing... ive even had some enemies respawn quicker

I believe in survival mode if you walk near the plants the timer resets to zero. For instance the glowing mushrooms near the molerat den never grow back because I walk near there all the time.

So if you go checking on the plants every couple of days they'll never regrow.

Sorry about that.

It's based on cell resets. I can't remember exactly, I think it was two in-game weeks for Skyrim... At least for "wild" plants and such. Fo4 seems to be more often but you do need to avoid the entire game cell for quite a while (not just sleeping/waiting, but passing in-game time).

That's some BS, not to you, but seriously what does looking at them have to do with it? That's the stupidest mechanic I've heard of to date.
