Console commands.

Beside that:

With Piper you have just to be nice with people and lockpicking non-owned locks. Is very easy to raise it with her.

Strong likes cannibalism, you know what you have to do there.

Curie likes sarcasm and help people.

Danse love when you craft weapon mods and enter in the atomic armor

Nick likes when you hack things, but didn't raise it a lot with him.

Would making my own locked/hackable terminals via workshop still work?

A few game tips for the OP.

My experince has been that Piper is the easiest character to get the affinity bonus. I recommend achieving that one first, and the Gift of Gab is a nice bonus to earn while most of the map is not explored.

There are reset timers for various actions that companions like. For example every 2 hours with Piper and lockpicking. If clearing a location (ex: Lexington & Super Duper Mart) make note of the locks and time your lock picks to max the benefit.

Modding weapons for Preston & Codsworth & modding armour for Codsworth have longer timers.

Preston likes it when you refuse Mama Murphy drugs. If you have a low CHR you can repeatedly fail this red speech check but gain the Preson affinity boost. The reset timer seems long for this task.

The affinity for Preson, Codsworth, Piper, Deacon & McCready seems to raise just with general exploring & clearing areas of raiders, ghouls, & super mutants.

Know which characters have special quests to achieve the perk and consider how that fits in your overall strategy. The perk for Danse requires you advance the BoS story line a fair bit.

Absolutly no idea. I would say yes because they are not owned but i wouldn't bet on that.
