How do i quick enter and quick exit the power armor?

I randomly quick exited and joined but i dont know how it happened, any of you guys know how to do it?

It might have to do with viewing angles and the animation skipping when there just isn't enough room for the camera.

nvm i found out that you quick exit/enter when you are in combat

You need ti be incombat to enter and exit the armor at a much faster speed. There is a mod on the Nexus if you want it to happen frequently.

And now i wished there would be a mod for the opposite. A mod that changes the leaving of the power armor to a key combination. Nothing sucks more then missing a container and instead of looting, one leaves the power armor.

This. It's the result of using a controller based interface. There are too few buttons on a controller so you must overload all the ones you do have. They COULD have made a proper KB+mouse interface for the PC version but that would cost money. I almost killed myself yesterday. On my no-death or you have to restart play-through. I was at the drive-in. Then I tried to pick up one of the radioactive barrels in the water to see if I could move it. Oops - bad move. I exited the power armor instead and almost died before I could get back in. Those barrels put out a LOT of radiation.
