its basicly a failed attempt with bethesda trying to ambush the player
I did as you said, even leaving the settler alive, however it didn't work, any way I can fix this issue in the GECK?
The command should be "player.additem 1d95c 1"
Other than that you could try to finish the quest itself via console command even though you dont get the caps that way.
For that the console command is "setstage 1d727 200" or switch the 200 with a 30 to get the quest past the mixing thingy.
