Guessing you bought it from the web and got a picture of the code?
The key you got from there can be revoked at any time if the person who sold it to you got it through illegal means. If its legal consider yourself lucky, they have been having tons of problems with peole selling stolen keys or selling legit keys that were purchased with stolen credit cards. All keys that are reported as stolen by developers, or have had their charges reversed (often the case for games bought with stolen credit cards or people who just scam folks on sites that have no way to guarantee anything like the one in question) get removed from whoever is using its account, sometimes with negative consequences, like the steam account being banned.
You should probably as on the G2A forum - *they're* the ones who sold you the game after all.
