Tales from the commonwealth..
This is absurdly awesome. I've done most of this games content over many playthroughs, and these quests are better than many of the vanilla quests.

I'm trying to avoid the wiki, can anyone suggest some places to stumble onto some quest givers?

TFTC has an inbuilt system to find the new quest content. Visit the Nahant Post Office sometime...

i have dedicated my latest playthrough to the Frost mod, which is not very friendly with other mods. I assume Frost will not play well with this mod. But it is good to hear good things about it, because i did download it for my non-Frost playthrough. And as much as i love this game, it does seem a bit short on non-radiant quests.

Go to the Federal Ration Stockpile.

I will say nothing else.

Go there.

Edit: Somehow the fact that you're asking about a mod that I don't have went right over my head at first. My advice still stands, if you want a nice story/quest thing that isn't actually a quest, go to the Federal Ration Stockpile.

I do like the story for that location, but I wish there were quests and npcs involved in the cool stories throughout the commonwealth, there are very few. if you haven't played the tales from the commonwealth mod, I sincerely recommend doing so

Should I start a new save for this mod or should I start it with a high level character?

Both should be okay. If you want to take full advantage of the new companions, you should start a new playthrough though.

Where is the Nahant Post Office? I've been stumbling around there for 20 minutes and can't find it.

North of Boston, the small island shaped kind of like a U, connected by one bridge. That's Nahant.[fallout.wikia.com] It's a real city in Massachusetts.

I found the town, but have wandered from the pier to the Red Rocket and up past the Oceanographic buildings and back again. Still can't find the post office.

It's not an official marked location. Just look at each building until you find one that looks like a post office.
