Edit; This is a stupid question but, no chance one speaker or one side of your headset went out, right?
Edit; Try loading an older save just to test, but I doubt a corrupt save caused it.
Verify the integrity of the game files.
Too bad ya didnt notice the date from two years ago.
And that he's almost exclusively detailing hardware problems that Bethesda has nothing to do with.
The main issue is usually playing without any ambient music, so I don't quite know when this problem started being a thing - trying old save files up to a year of age didn't seem to show any difference, whilst I know for a fact, the music was present then.
