Too Bright! Help!
I've turned off Godsrays. I've downloaded Realistic Lights Shadows Color and Detail SweetFX 2.0 Preset and turned off bloom and turned gamma up. Nothing changes it. I don't know what else to do but I can't see the terrain and cant play.

Can we get your system specs?

Have you downloaded and installed the latest driver for your video card?

Are you running any mods? If so can we get your load order.

What have you tried?

-------

Try verifying the game cache using steam:
Right click FO4 in steam > click properties > click local files > click verify game cache

(This will update/fix broken files)

I think its a sun issue.

Specs:
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3
CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0 GHz
GFX: MSI GeForce GTX 1060
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengence

I have changed video settings from as high as possible to as low as possible and the brightness is still there.
I have removed all mods, i have added lighting effect mods.
I have checked for GFX updates, already up to date.
I have a feeling its a GeForce setting i cant find or something.

Try this BUT make a save before you do it. Also, if it doesn't work, I'd suggest exiting the game to desktop, re-launching and then loading the save you made. At least you'll be back where you started.

Anyway, enter the console and type: rimod 00094636

I verified game files and its repairing some. Now, it won't let me play until the HiRes pack finishes downloading too. 16 hours remaining. Will try console command as soon as I can.

If that doesn't work, you could always try to disable the hd texture pack, its known to cause a few graphical issues for some users...

Only area of the game that is superbright for me is the institute, I had to get a Black Institute mod to fix it
