Dogmeat doesnt show armor?

I gave him a red bandana and wielding goggles but he doesnt wear them. Is this a bug?

You need to press the button to equip them with whatever armor or weapon you gave them. They don't auto equip if you give them something

The default key to equip the item is T. Just open Dogmeats inventory/trade, highlight the item, then press T.

*If you have a different type of keyboard or you use a controller look at the bottom of your screen when in Dogmeats inventory. It will show your equip item key or button.

Oh i assumed it would auto equip because he had no armor before.

There are two basic types of dog armor, dog collars and enough of a variety of bandanas to where he can have one for each day of the week+.
