Uhm, Why are Father and Shaun wearing black face?

Uhm.....so I'm playing through Fallout 4 having a good time and all that....

Well I finally made it to Father for the first time, and uhm... well.... Him and Shaun are totally wearing black face. Their heads, hands, backs of their necks... all that is normal, but their faces are black, not like black no color black, but black like an African American black. I thought maybe it was a mod i had installed or something, but I disabled all mods, and still is there.

Anyone else seen similar? Know why? How to fix it?
I did some googling but found nothing really helpful just a couple other people experiences variations of the same thing.

Are you using any mods?
Are you using the hd texture pack?

only have 4 mods, disabled and tried to reload. nothing.
do have the hd texture let me try to disable and see.

The hd texture packs causes solid black faces...but those were fixed normally...ofcourse there is no harm in trying to disable it :P

it was the hd pack, laaaaame. i shoulda checked that first XD

did you get the latest patch? its suppose to fix that issue

it also fixes the Green water problem in the main institute area

The patch didn't seem to work for me, unless it was less than 7 days ago. But if you go into the data folder and remove just the first hd dlc (DLCUltraHighResolution - Textures01) then it should fix the problem and still give you the benefit of the other 15.
