I've done big water farms without a problem, I slowly built each pump / generator in sync so I didn't lose track of the power requirements

which is fine for a standard settlement, but water farming is the best way to trade for what you need to buy is why we do these large farms of it
I need it mostly for buying settlement materials, I can literally buy out every junk item at every trader
Opps, different poster to pictures. lol. Anyway, is this on spectacle island by chance? You need power on the same "half" as the purifiers.
its an old screenshot so thats how I had to run it at the time, one of the DLC's added a larger power plant so I use it now
