Fusion Cell Locations?
This is a very important item to me now that I have an Institute Pistol. I have a need for many so I can shoot off my Laser :) Please, anyone, post locations. Don't need to be specific, just a place where you found one or a few:

Many vendors sell them. Arturo in Diamond City would be a good NPC to buy them from early levels.

I suppose I could tell you where to find enemies that carry laser-based weapons, and therefore Fusion Cells on them? You can battle them with a secondhand Pipe rifle to conserve ammunition. This list is not complete by far.

Synths:

Mahkra Fishpacking

Sandy Coves Convalescent Home

Boston Mayoral Shelter

Malden Center

Gunners: (Not every single Gunner will carry a laser-based weapon)

If you see a windmill on top of an overpass, it's a Gunner outpost. Be wary of enemy robots.

HalluciGen, Inc

Hub City Auto Wreckers

Quincy

Quincy Police Station

Gunners' Plaza

At later levels, some Super Mutants will carry laser-based weapons. I'm not going to list locations to find Super Mutants because they're abundant.

Laser turrets have Fusion Cells in them, and Tesla Arcs do as well.

Those are some great locations. I'm running as fast as I can through the territory to put some of these places on my fast travel map.

One major hint - Make tons of watter in the settlements, sell them and buy whatever you like :)

That and when you get a laser pistol, you might ditch the institude one because they are sort of low brow and intended for those guys that say "Hello. I will have to kill you now. Please do not keep hitting me my sensors are now faulty." etc

Not the shinest gyro compensator in the shed if you know what I mean, and so there are more fusion cell worthy weapons you may find.

Of course if you come across a legendary dual shot institude pistol, then mod it to a scatter gun and get twice the scatter and twice the fun! Just make sure to add something with a grip to reduce recoil because it'll shake all over the place without it!

Thanks very much, Serious' that's why I keep asking questions here, to get valuable intel. I'm not happy with the institue pistol, it doesn't work well with V.A.T.I.S. targeting at my low level (I haven't made it out of level 5 for a long time in my current game. Just wandering around the globe getting ready to take on that Queen Mirelurk in the castle so I can complete Preston's quest of re-taking the castle. I need a few more mini-nukes and another fusion-core and I'm set. It's unfortunate for me that I'm not a master lockpick yet, most of the advanced Zones require master level to open the doors that hide my prize.
Near Red Rocket is Mole Rat Den
Hint for Fusion Core

Thanks Hunter', found that one, an easy one :)

Many robots have a chance for dropping fusion cells, too. All ammo containers can theoretically contain fusion cells. Also all those blood sacks and lumps of the Super Mutant sites often contain various ammunitions next to junk. Steamer trunks and safes often contain ammo.

Regular lasers will pack more punch per fusion cell. The Super-Duper Markt in Lexington also contans dead Minutement with laser muskets, which are also a great way to use your lazors more efficiently.

Ultimately, lasers are not that superior to regular guns. Don't get too obsessed.

Go to any shop. Go to the Institute. Look around. Ask mommy.

Those cells on the steps outside of the museum in concord always respawn for me. Have a look there.

There is a respawn mini nuke outside of the robotics disposal site too. In the tyre pile just out front of the fence, I find I have to blow it out though, it always seems to be "stuck". There's a fatman there too in the site, most likely where you get your first one from. Not a respawn though.

One can use the TCL command to grab it as well.

I just either throw a grenade at it or shoot a single round from the spray 'n pray and it jumps out. :)
