Why the bird still flying around?
Since the bomb fell, alot of animals died and some mutated.
But the bird still around and not really mutated. How does it even survive the nuke tho?

Some birds are still around, but they may just be the ones that happened to survive. And they certainly don't all look normal or healthy.

There are relatively normal dogs around as well, like Dogmeat, or the attack dogs that sometimes accompany raiders (or the ones you can get for your settlements).

Oh I forgot about dogs tho. I think dogmeat got out from some Vault since he's look so normal...

- Why 200 years after bomb fell there are still openly laid sceletons, fabric, cars with fuel, settlemnts in ruin?
- Why 200 years after bomb fell people still wearing same clothes?
- Why mutations are positive? (ghoules lives much more 200 years, no need food, stronger and faster than humans. Insects have gygantic forms only, while in fact those forms are primitive one that were distinct by smaller and more advanced)
- Why edge of sience the Institute made such crappy weapon?
- Why you do can build nuclear reactor but uses a tube aufully screwed to wooden plank that looks like you made it with your only teeth but you call it a gun and entrust your life to that trash?
- Why armor (put on a synth armor for example) looks like barbarian necklace not full body protection?

Ghouls do need food... and the brain rot is certanly a great mutation and the fact that they cannot breed... srsly just shoot them they are a disaster waiting to happen.
that kid in the fridge is a oversight.

insects can become that size and once upon a time actually were, but there was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ more oxygen in the atmosphere that sustained them cause they dont breathe the way we do.
but then again SCI FI

They were left as you've named then, "ruins"; they simply remain there after not being interacted with for so long.
I like to believe after 200 years there'd still be structures and so forth, just not most fabric.

That is where time basically "stopped", clothing left was from that era, and brought in from vaults so people simply wore it as it was all that's left.

Mutations can be positive as they invoke evolution.
Ghouls need food.

Ghouls aren't stronger than humans, rather, what you're probably talking about is feral ghouls so the answer is simple:
Since they don't think about their actions, are basically brainless and act upon impulse, all their strength is thrown into each attack.

Feral Ghouls aren't faster, regular ghouls are probably just as fast as regular humans.

Insects grow giant after a huge additive oxygen in the atmosphere, that was contributed by radiation which forced them to evolve into predators.
Since humans weren't there for so many years, less creatures needed oxygen, and as such, they grew larger.

The Institute makes weaponry to be used on a massive scale, they only need weapons that work so they're manufactured and ready to be used; they could make them more powerful, but they need them to be reproduced on a larger scale and not waste resources.

Why do you do, indeed?
It's simple, do the dew.

If it works it works, a weapon is a weapon and if it works for the user then that's what you need.

Examples?
Synth armor protects vital areas, as does most armor.
What armor actually "is", and it's extremely simply to get, but apparently not here.

And no, It's not developer oversight rather people failing to get why things are the way they are, which can easily be countered since humans don't think the same.

With settlement around or even inside settlement? First thing people do - dismantle it for building material. Would you go find cement, reinforcement, build mines and rolling mil etc to make building or just take concrete slabs / beams / logs metal sheets from some old building?

Problem is - there are very few vaulters and most of people are actually lived in Commonwelth all those 200 years. that means - no trash around, no same clothes, no food laying around, no dead bodies everiwhere, no habitat shack around unhabitat brick buildings.

Most of them leads to the death. Especially the big one. Evolutions on other hand - long way of small step mutations. What positive mutation under radiations - withstand radiation and keep fertile brood or get 2 head and 5 legs?

Could you please enlighten me what have eaten by boy who spend 200 years in frizer or ghouls that are laying around in just about every closed factory or bunker or Farharbor hotel ? They've been growing a mushrooms platations like an ants or cattle breeding may be?

If they can and you can't - they stronger. It's simple :)

You can't move whith such speed in game and they can - they faster then human.

Wrong again. Radiation can cause mutation. Not behavior. Not size. Biggest insects need more oxigen because primitive body organization. It will NOT CAUSE that they will grow bigger. There were big insect long ago because at those times they were on top and has no concurent like more efficient insects or animals or birds. Fallout 4 is not prehistoric times - there are birds, wolves, dogs, wild cats, deathclaw, people with laser and shotguns, etc. No way big yamy protein bag can be called positive mutation.

Once again - vaulers just a few. Remember F4 story start - why do they need kidnapp a boy or protagonist? Wild animals is not from vaults. Birds is not from vaults.

Institute works in a dark. Few operatives, secret operations, uses locals as mercenaries, substitute ppl's autorites. No sign of ANY massive operations. They absolutly need power overhelming since low force used, so one enforcer can ignore local forces. But they use crap weapon so it endagered institute existance itself.

Ow really? So human vital areas - head, neccklass, belt on belly, cuffs and shoulder joints while all armor shows breast armor as a first needed, then helm, then others.

Yeah yeah it's not developer whos always produced those "bikini armor". It's stupid people just didn't understand "The Great Armor and Weaponry DESIGN" and call it moronic.

You can take some time and look at the museums how real weapon and armor looks like. They may be primitive comparing to a moderns but they __quite__well__made__ and efficient.

I've often said that the guy who travels around from settlement to settlement sells synth dogs. I mean spying on people would be a LOT easier with a dog right?

*Spoiler alert* I think Bethesda just mucked that part up. If you skip meeting dogmeat at the beginning: When you get to Kellog's house you have to pretty much ask Valentine what to do next and he tells you he has worked with someone before that has a pretty good nose. He then tells you he can whistle at a very low frequency that only he can hear. The way Valentine did the whistle was kind of believable, it sounded more like a short radio signal that could travel a fair distance. I know that doesn't disprove dogmeat being a synth but I just wanted to point out it looks like Bethesda had provisions for having never met him or having him with you at the time but got lazy if he wasn't with you.
