Cait is lost

I teleported to diamond city with cait as my companion and she dissappeared. Is there a way to fix this

If you lose a companion they will return to the place you found them originally (may have to wait 24 hours in game), check the Combat Zone

Yes that too, the Vaultec Workshop DLC terminal has a companion locator, forgot to mention that

even if they dont show up at the combat zone recruit a diffrent companion for a while and then go back and check for her.

if your not afraid of modding this can be very helpful

She will use any drugs you give her, and she will like that you drug yourself or drink hard liquor.
