Nuka World Power Building
I have cleared all the parks, found all but one Starcore, which I am told is on top level of Star Control. My prob is I cannot find the key to turn on the power to enable the lift in Star Control. I have not killed any Raiders as of yet, and have given the Operators the Parks. Any hints? Thanks Richie

The key to turning on Star Control is turning the power back on at the main power plant which is in the NW corver of the park. On your map, pulled back as far as you can, the darker flat areas in Nukaworld have buildings and missions in them.

Thanks, I understand. I have cleared the plant, and need a key to open the door on the roof to turn on power. I can not find the key. Who has it, where is it, is there a quest I aam muiissing??? Thank you

But you cannot turn on the power because a stupid door remains closed until you complete Open Season for completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reasons.

There are two 'proper' ways to get access;

1 - ♥♥♥♥ around with the raider questline until you get notice that one group has gone 'rogue' and taken over the power station.

2 - flat out kill all of them.

The better way, if you have console mode available and don't want to screw up the commonwealth with raider settlements and such, is to use command 'setstage DLC04MQ05 5' once you're asked to go take a commonwealth settlement. You miss a perk, but once you take a trip somewhere and come back you'll have that one raider group to kill and you'll have park power with 2/3 raider groups left and no bad mojo with Preston.

What bothers me most is that the settlement cant be used until the power is turned on.

Why have a settlement that cant be used until most of the DLC is done? What sense does that make? Wouldnt it be better to use the settlement while doing the DLC?

Bethesda please fix your game. :)

I use TLC to get the last Starcore. The whole powerplant locked door thing is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

You can get 2 star cores from the junkyard if you collect one BEFORE the huboligist mission, and during the huboligist mission collect it at the junkyard a second time (same location), then you will have the extra star core you need to access the display case and won't need the one in the elevator.

Its an exploit

so you do not need to restore the nuka world power, you can get in it earlier.

They're Raiders: kill all of them and free the traders and slaves, then you can get through the door to push the power button.

it respawns endlessly? cool I didn't know that. if I wait long enough I could collect all 20 star cores needed that way to reboot just the security of the galaxy zone without having to kill any of the robots lol
