Are there any bobby pins inside Vault 111?

I'll be the the first to answer that one... NO!!!

If anyone has any evidence that there is one single bobby pin inside vault 111, please post the pics to prove it. Also, just try searching for a list of bobby pins in this game, no one knows. I'm going to be posting on this thread anytime I find a bobby pin, along with a screenshot and exact location. I would appreciate any help with this. Next stop is Sanctuary Hills. There must be at least one pin there..

You can exit the vault111 with about 4 maybe 5, you can get a few more northwest of 111 in the containers there. [bobbypins].

Just make your way to the Combat Zone, get Cait, and have her pick it for you. Just have a good supply of bobby pins though.

There are bobby pins in Vault 111, in the Security rest area near the Cryolater. Check the dresser. Should be a box of them in it. On higher difficulties, this may not spawn.

They spawn in the containers randomly. I usually manage to exit the vault with two or three.

there are bobby pin but only if you have high enough luck
if luck is 1 then there are none

if you want to find use full item start with luck 2-10

if you want it hard and mostly struggle start with luck 1
if you truely want to play on hard mode have all time luck 1

luck also handle critical hit rate in combat
critical hit has chance to penetrate

with luck 1 you will very rarely find anything usefull
with luck 1 you hits will be normal hits and very rare critical.

with luck 10 you will find anything you need and that in overflow and you will do lot of critical hits.

what you find depends on luck!

Yes it has bobby pins, I found them a few times in the desk and dressors (random loot)

also your screenshots will be useless, cause random loot is random loot its not the same for every player

I always put my luck at level 5 cause I always get idiot saviant as my first level perk, only want to level faster not find stuff easier.

The Overseer's quarters usually have a few IIRC> I normally leave with a handful and most of my characters are Luck 2-3

Thanks to everyone for the guidance. I am just now learning about Luck, and how it plays a major role in what and how much of it I can find. I'll increase the level of difficulty, and work on getting Luck 10.

Don't worry, I won't be posting here any time I find anything, and I will try to control myself here in the forum, because I am understanding that most of the people here have played through every game I own, and set world records in kills, and have epic videos posted on Youtube. :)

Depends on the RNG gods, sometimes you will find them in 111, sometimes not

Depends on your Luck (RL not game,although that may also affect it) sometimes there are bobby pins. I tend to find them either in the Mirror in the room behind the overseers desk or, and this one appears more likely, in one of the file cabinets in the left corner of the room where the overseers Terminal is.

If you really need me to i can start a new character and prove it. But i'm kinda lazy.

I think the mirrors have a smaller set of valid loot (mostly focused on medicine), and since it happens to include bobby pins, the chances to find one there are increased. I tend to notice it wandering around Sanctuary, because of the additional mirrors in there (which, like medical boxes, especially the wall-based ones, we're annoyingly unable to build in the vanilla game and DLC).
