most up to date item sorting mod?

For a new playthrough, I've tried Valdecil's, and now Better Item Sorting, but in both cases, the item sorting is incomplete. The same items aren't all listed consistently- an item will be in a bracketed category, but scrolling through my inventory, I'll see the same item listed in a second place just under its name, no brackets. Also, the categories seem arbitrary, for example stimpaks, rad-x, and such are in the [medicine] bracket, but radaway is not.

I don't remember having these problems a year ago. Are they not updated with the DLC content? I've looked at Nexus for this category of mod, but it's not obvious to me what's going on. Do I need to install a newer version of the mod or something?

If you haven't tried updating the mods then you should. Otherwise, report your issues to the mod authors and let them know so they can improve their mods. If they don't get feedback chances are their mods cause more and more problems the longer these are around.

Yep, agreed, sounds like an out of date sorting mod...

Also don't forget that such sorting may mods rely on AWKR also (pretty sure Valdacil's needs it), and if this is not properly updated (or even not installed) they will not function correctly...

hm. Everything's up to date according to NMM, and I've got AWKR installed. Might be some mod's not playing nicely with some other one. Back to tinkering...
