Are there any good game changing mods out there yet?
I took a quick peak in at Nexus last few days and can't find anything that different. What I am looking for is something to play the game different then I have already. Each play through of Skyrim I tried some perk and spell overhaul that changed the gameplay a ton.

Looking for the same thing here. Something that will change gameplay from what I have played already.

- "Survival Options" (if you don't have it already and play survival-mode)

- "Campsite" (adds a camping-mechanic with lots of new items, perfect for survival-mode)

- "Beast Master" (tame any creature and turn it into your companion , it even lets you equipp them and modify their appearance).

- "Bullet Time" (imo the perfect alternative to VATS)

- "Raider Overhaul WIP" and "Super Mutant Redux" (turns the two factions into what they should've always been)

- "Pip-Boy Flashlight" (makes the Pip-Boy-light actually usefull and realistic)

- "Darker Nights" (makes the game 200% better, works amazingly with Pip-Boy Flashlight)

I've found enough weapon and armor mods to play through with stuff I've never used before. Also, with Nuka World it's possible to play through as a proper raider, if you haven't yet.

I am much liking Horizon by Zawinul right now. It brings a good feeling of scarcity and makes settlements more useful. It's due a big update in the next few days which is probably worth waiting for.

Thanks for the quick responses. I will check some of these out. I was planning on playing through nuka cola dlc. I know nothing about it. I just am having hard time starting because I already played it so much and didnt want to play FO4 the same way again.

I have done survivial but when it first came out. Not done any mods with it yet.

Maxwells world and fusion city rising are pretty good quest mods

War Never Changes gameplay overhaul is what i'm using for my current playtrough.
It overhauls the perk tree and makes the gunplay more "realistic" fps like (less bullet spongy)
It does also tweak some other minor gameplay stuff as well.
Goes well with mods that add more enemies for some intense battles.

Bullet time ROCKS IMHO. Also, there are several Weather mods that are very immersive.

I recently discovered a mod that changes feral Ghouls into Zombies. They look the same but as Zombies they move slower but are MUCH harder to kill (requiring a headshot). For a guy who used to prefer milloes against Ghouls, this is a big change.

There are also some great radio station mods out there if you like some background while you wander the Commonwealth.

FROST, completely changes everything in the game to happen right after the bombs drop;
