Best time to use herbal stimulant?
^
Does it matter when? I'm just not quite sure the best time to quaff 'em. I usually use them after sleeping thinking it will increase my operational time from the get-go before getting tired, although I've never tested it fully. (well, at all really. I just assume they're working) Maybe a few hours after sleeping but before you get tired would be better idk.

Try to keep the effect constant. It's a buff to resist disease check which happen every 24 hours i think.

Best time beside that would be before eating raw/rad food or before getting any sort of damage.

Might also want to try timing it so you take it before sleeping on any matresses that are less than clean. I seemed to always get sick sleeping more than combat.

The best time to use them is to wait until you get to a vendor and then sell them. Curing a disease costs 15 caps.

The way the game works it is probably best to use them before sleeping.

The game decides you are "infected" and what happens is once you rest that time to check comes around on the clock.

So using them after you passed the "infection check" seems really pointless.

Also keep in mind other factors inrcease the chance of failign that check. The more you exert yourself, the longer you go without food or water, the logner you go without rest, etc.

Quality of mattress is causing diseases is pure myth. The only real difference is the amount of sleep you may get on such a matress.

I see. My mistake was in thinking they acted like caffeine in keeping you awake longer, not just in resisting fatigue, lethargy and insomnia. Which you get after sleeping?

Beth always seems to get things backwards. Ehh, whatever. Thanks for the clarification.

Nuka Cola is for extending your awake times. However all it does is remove the debuff, the debuff still exists and it all adds up soon as it wears off.
