Any armor mods you have that are for the Armorsmith Extended workbench should not be the cause of your CTD.
Now, start with the last armor mod you installed for the vanilla workbench and disable it in NMM. Then try using the armor bench again. Rinse and repeat until you find the vanilla armor bench mod that is causing the crash and uninstall that mod.
***As a footnote; I strongly suggest you install SKE[Settlement Keywords Expanded] before you download anymore build menu mods. If you keep adding decoration mods to the vanilla menus you WILL get conflicts between the mods that will cause some items to not be available in the build menus and possibly cause new CTD's. Homemaker and Snap&Build are compatable with each other but several other decoration mods require a patch and SKE to be compatable with the other two.
Some possible solutions in no particular order:
1. run LOOT to optimize your load order. That alone might fix it
2. Check EVERY single mod and make sure it's updated, along with your game and F4SE
3. Uninstall, not disable, UNINSTALL, your mods a few at a time until you no longer crash. Then install the last batch one at a time until you find the bad mod
4. Verify integrity of game files
UNLESS you're installing a mod that the author states SKE is a REQUIREMENT, installing SKE will do NOTHING for your game except eating up a slot in your load order. ALL ALONE, SKE does NOT organize your categories, does NOT clean them up, does NOT fix any bugs, it does nothing. The ONLY time you need SKE is when you're installing a mod that REQUIRES it. Otherwise, don't bother installing it until it's needed.
SKE is a modder's resource that provides a framework of custom categories and keywords for modders to use. It doesn't touch vanilla categories and unless a mod requires it, it's unnecessary.
At the time I didn't have the info to help the OP. Just in the last couple of days I read what caused that. Concealed Armors uses an outdated version of Armor Keywords[AWKCR]. The simplest fix is to uninstall both mods then re-install Armor Keywords first. After that re-install Concealed Armors and when it asks you to overwrite Armor Keywords choose No. That will stop the armor bench CTD.
You're welcome.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH !!!!!
Again, the voice of reason. I don't get how anyone can throw all those mods at a game and not know anything about what they are doing. ZIP, NADA, ninguna.
You're welcome.

This is what did it for me.
You rock!
Completed the resolution's fix and CTD still occured. Follow resolution's steps again but loaded in without installing Concealed Armors at all (it was previously deleted). CTD occured but actually opened up the armor workbench before CTD.
Help?
