Help - Miss Edna stuck in a Dialogue Loop

So, I wanted to talk to Miss Edna because I heard she had an interesting sidestory. I got it to work once, but I notice Cait hated my answer.

I reloaded a quicksave, and made her wait outside.

Now, no matter what I do, Miss Edna is stuck in a dialogue loop saying "What is 12 times 15?" without giving me the option to answer. Help.

Try loading an even earlier save (perhaps the autosave from when you entered Diamond City or the autosave from entering the schoolhouse), but dismiss Cait first and wait for her to leave the area.

Depending on what you do, the next time you enter Diamond City on foot, keep an eye around Publick Occurrences.

The earliest save I've tried was an exitsave almost an hour's playtime prior. Still broken.

Gonna try to dismiss Cait now.

And now, every save instantly puts me in VATs, no matter how far back I go...

Yeah, it was instantly zooming into VATS. Every save would just enter VATS, and even if I exhausted my AP it wouldn't come out of it - cancelling it didn't work.

Restarted my game and it works fine now.
