Brown face bug
I installed the HD pack and met no bug nor any kind of difficulty. Gameplay was as smooth as before. Then today, as I was starting a new game, the character I was creating suddenly became brown in the face as the rest of the head was not. Nora, in the back, was also quite brown and had no eyebrows. I exited and loaded a savegame from another character and now some NPC's, like Curie (in synth version) is also black in the face with no eyebrow. I ran file integrity and checked for possible conflicting mods but I don't have many. The only one that has anything to do with bodies is CBBE and after the HD pack was installed it didn't give me this weird bug. Tried every solution I could find on Google but so far nothing works. Some people stated running plain vanilla version of the game and encountered this bug. Anyone found a work around for this thing?

A lot of people are reporting this problem, with or without the HD pack (I don't have the texture pack and I get the problem too). Keep an eye on this mod - the author is looking for details on load orders of their mods to see if they can pinpoint the problem. The mod is working for some, but not all, at this stage.

Well, since the problem occured soon after the installation of the HD pack, I unchecked the HD Pack to remove it from the game and everything went back to normal so I guess in my case that was the culprit. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out as it may prove useful for other problems that may arise from that big box 'o bugs that is F4.

Thank you for linking this. Even tho the fix mod itself didn't work for me, someone in the comment mentioned that when the game detects someone using the Texture DLC, it forces a higher specular maps on the heads. He said this could be avoided by renaming the Texture DLC to a different name, which keeps it active (as you have the files and you can still activate them) but avoid the game forcing the new specular maps on the heads. I tried this and it worked for me.

I don't follow "renaming the Texture DLC to a different name, which keeps it active (as you have the files and you can still activate them)" exactly ... rename the file name of the hi res DLC .. while its enabled in mod manager .. or .. ?? Please detail what you did .. thanks ..
