Removing corpses
My settlement was attacked by feral ghouls some time back... Is there any way I can remove the ghoul corpses because they're kind of ruining the aesthetic?

Look at the corpse
Open console
Click on corpse
Type "disable"

Don't use the disable command, use the "markfordelete" command. "disable" won't actually delete anything and will casue the game to continually load the "disabled" assets, although they will be invisible.

Look at the corpse, open console, click on corpse, type "markfordelete", hit enter. Done.

The next time the cell is loaded, the corpse will be gone.
About using/holding the E key?
And I know two mods that do that in one clic...

The safe way is to use both "disable" and "markfordelete".

Use disable first, and if the right thing disappears, then use markfordelete. Otherwise, use enable to bring it back. Markfordelete is irreversible.

any corpse that isnt an ash/goo pile will disappear (aside from quest related targets which these are not if it has a random attack) if you stay clear of the area for atleast 7 days (waiting in diamond city for 8 days does the trick most the time).

ash and goo piles are a different story tough.

otherwise just toss em outa your settlement. they wont return like the already present ones in lighthouse and croup.

if too heavy to move use gamma gun / explosives to MOVE em XD works like a charm with explosive shotgun or gamma gun.

Be careful with mark for delete, very easy for your focus to be on the wrong object. If your reason is to clear up a settlement I would suggest using a mod Scrap Everything[www.nexusmods.com]

Drag them out manually, you lazy ass

I use conquest mod so all my settlements are not in the designated "settlement areas"...I have on in Lexington, and there are corpses that I cant get rid of....everytime I move them, they appear back where they were next time I come back.....what's the best way to get rid of corpses that are technically not in a settlement?
Some corpses just do not go away. I remember there's been the same Raider and Mongrel Dog corpses across the bridge to Sanctuary ever since the beginning of the game. They never disappeared, and honestly, I've accepted their presence at this point. They're part of the scene.

"Yep, there's Preston chilling on the roof, there's that random-ass tire, and there's the corpses."

You might want this

It removes the guy and the dog. Also you could drag them into Sanctuary and scrap them when using "scrap dead things"

You could also go up to the guy and the dog. Open the console > click on the guy > type "markfordelete", click on the dog, type "markfordelete", close the console.

They will be gone :)

Also there is mods that remove the meshes from the roofs.

Grenades work fine. Drag the bodies into a single pile and then blast them out. Also, if you have settlers the bodies tend to dissappear on their own, at least for me.
