i rescued strong and sent him to sanctuary . but i also use sanctuary to repair my power armor .strong dislikes power armor so every time reentering the power armor it says "strong disliked that. " will that be a problem . i dont mind killing him if he becomes a problem but he is essential now

Don't enter power armor while he's with you? If you're in sanctuary you can tell him to wait in that survival shelter behind the house to the north east.

He still dosen't like it, he's still your companion while he's waiting.

he isnt even my companion . he just chills there while i come back to drop off junk and repair my armor . cait is my companion . i tried to wall him into a house he wandered in once but he teleported out somehow

If he's not your companion it doesn't matter.

Unless you are entering power armor every 5 seconds, it is not going to adversely affect his affinity.

If you are really worried, just pick up a help settler quest while he is around.

You must appeal to strong, he wants to smell your hot naked body when you go out and fight, so you can get blood on everything in-between.
Other than that, just tell him to bugger off and you'll be fine
