How do I enable the hi res texture pack?
Downloaded all 57.5GB, it shows as installed under the add-ons at the main menu, but my only option under add-ons is to press enter to buy it which takes me to the store page in the steam browser. Loading a save just gives me normal textures.

**UPDATE**
So, even though they said there would be an option to enable/disable the pack, it appears that there is no such option. If you downloaded it and it shows a check mark by it under the DLC list, then it is installed. It is extremely underwhelming considering it is almost 60GB. The only way to really know that it is enabled is to notice that your VRAM usage will almost double and some things will look slightly clearer.

Well, so far I have restarted the game, steam, my computer. I also enabled fallout4 beta, none of that has helped.

Ok, so what seems to have worked for me is going to the store page for the texture pack in steam and launching FO4 from there. I can't really tell if the textures are better but I am now seeing GPU memory usage of up to 5.5GB instead of the normal 2.5GB or so. FPS is lower as well, but my GPU is being weird and refuses to clock anywhere close to even the base clock, much less the overclock I set.

Right click on the game in your Library, go to Properties, hit the DLC tab and make sure it's checked. Does that help? (My DL hasn't finished yet).

No, it does not help.

Same prob. The DLC shows as checked, but "not installed" clicking on the "download" button from the store page simply launches the game.

I had to uncheck and recheck it this morning to get it to actually queue for download, now there just seems to be no way to actually enable it.

This seems to have worked - it's downloading now.

Thanks,

Just don't do it after it's installed, it will, quite literally, re-download the entire pack.

Omg.... I unchecked it and that apparently deleted it? Because now I'm downloading another 54.7GB. Good thing I don't have data caps, oh wait, comcast.
